Hope Billy (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a formidable boxer on the ring. In addition to success, Billy has everything, a beautiful wife and a daughter who loves her.
But everything changes when a tragedy claimed the lives of his wife. Billy turned into a drunkard and had other vices. Because of him, the government confiscated all possessions and their beloved daughter.
Billy conscious have lost everything now trying to take what was left of him, first he must prove that he is worthy of becoming a father for the princess.
